Influenza A (H1N1) Virus (2009) RNA Detection Kit (Fluorescent PCR Method)
Influenza is an acute respiratory infectious disease caused by influenza viruses, primarily transmitted via airborne droplets and also through contact with virus-contaminated objects. It peaks during the winter and spring seasons, is highly contagious, can lead to large-scale outbreaks, and may trigger serious public health emergencies. According to WHO statistics, there are 3 to 5 million severe cases of influenza worldwide each year, resulting in 290,000 to 650,000 deaths annually. Influenza viruses are classified into four types—A, B, C, and D—based on differences in their nucleoprotein and matrix protein; among these, type A is most likely to cause pandemics.
This product can qualitatively detect influenza A (H1N1) virus nucleic acid in pharyngeal swab samples, for use in the auxiliary diagnosis and epidemiological surveillance of influenza A (H1N1) virus.
