December 1, 2025, marks the 38th World AIDS Day. The theme of China’s 2025 awareness campaign is “Joint Governance by All Sectors of Society, Upholding Fundamentals While Innovating, and Ending AIDS.”

The aim is to foster a deep understanding of the importance and long-term nature of HIV/AIDS prevention and control, and, building on the summarization and continuation of past effective practices and exemplary approaches, to further encourage all sectors of society to share responsibility for HIV/AIDS prevention and control, strengthen the exploration and innovation of preventive and therapeutic measures, and advance the high-quality development of HIV/AIDS prevention and control efforts.

HIV-1 New-Case Infection ELISA Test Kit

 

HIV‑1 incident infection testing can be used to estimate national and regional HIV incidence rates, incidence rates among specific populations, and sentinel surveillance–based incidence rates, thereby providing a scientific basis for analyzing the epidemiological characteristics and trends of AIDS. In addition, incident infection testing can help evaluate the effectiveness of interventions, identify high‑risk areas and populations, and guide contact tracing and other prevention and control efforts for recently infected individuals.

Used to detect incident HIV-1 infections at the population level.

We have developed a commercial kit for large-scale monitoring of new HIV infections, in collaboration with the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention and the U.S. CDC, and are the only domestic manufacturer authorized by the U.S. CDC to produce and market such a kit.

The encapsulation raw material is easy to produce, and Jinhao Company can manufacture it in-house.
