In this award selection, the project "Establishment and Application of the Scientific and Technological Research Platform for COVID-19 Diagnostic Reagents," jointly submitted by Beijing Jinhao Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., National Institutes for Food and Drug Control, Chinese People's Liberation Army General Hospital, Beijing Ditan Hospital affiliated to Capital Medical University, Guangzhou Institute of Biomedicine and Health, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing Jinwofu Bioengineering Technology Co., Ltd., and Beijing Bell Bioengineering Co., Ltd., won the Second Prize of the 2021 Beijing Science and Technology Progress Award.
The "Beijing Science and Technology Award" is an award established by the Beijing Municipal People's Government. The project awards include the Natural Science Award, Technological Invention Award, and Science and Technology Progress Award. This award aims to deeply implement the innovation-driven development strategy, promote Beijing's acceleration in building a world-class science center and innovation highland, and mainly rewards scientific and technological workers and achievements that contribute to the construction of an international science and technology innovation center.
